She was predeceased by: her husband Virgele Walker (Buzz); her children, Anna Maria, Thomas Eugene Walker and George Augustus Walker; her sons-in-law, Billy Bates Sr. and Michael Miller; her granddaughter AnnaLee Flynn; and her siblings, Bob of Bill, D. C., Joel Hodges and Gladys Tucker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Floy Bates of Wilson, Jo Ann Miller of Wilson and Mary "Janie" Peal (Ricky) of Fox; and her brother Pete Hodges of Simon. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren.
