It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roxie Steele (Wilson, Oklahoma), born in Village Mills, Texas, who passed away on May 24, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Oscar Israel Canon and Annie Laurie Canon (Lilley); her husband Red Steele; her son-in-law Gary Parrish; her siblings, Jimmy Canon and Elma Marble; and her niece Marianne Conerly (David).

She is survived by : her son Mike Steele (Donna) of Criner Hills; her grandchildren, Kari Ann Butler (Lance) of Criner Hills, Laci Parrish (Heather) of Tulsa, Courtney Steele of Criner Hills and Cody Steele (Taylor) of Ardmore; her great grandchildren, Emily Anita, Hannah Layne and Lillianne; her nephews, James Marble (Dawn) and Freddy Canon; and her friends, Bobbie Epley, Joyce and Marvin Ellis.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations made to the Ash Street Church of Christ or to the Hewitt Cemetery Association 1302 7th Street, Wilson, OK 73463.
