He was predeceased by: his parents, Burley Gilliam and Grace Gilliam; his siblings, Lucille Duncan, Nathelda Davis and Kenneth Gilliam; his parents-in-law, Leo Gartrell and Luella Gartrell; his siblings-in-law, Louise Gilliam, Bill Duncan, George Davis and Fred Pinkston; and his son-in-law Michael Rear.
He is survived by: his wife Merla Gilliam; his sister Opal Pinkston of Oklahoma City; his children, Holly Brown of Midwest City, Susan Rear of Moore, Brett Gilliam (Michelle) of Edmond and Kristi Gilliam of Poth, Texas; his grandchildren, Trish Scott (Jeff), Diantha McDonald, Brooke McDonald, Jill Kirk (Monty), Gracelyn Kelley (Mitch), Brycen Harmon (Tabitha), Stanton Harmon, Rayden Morrison, Drew Gilliam and Luke Gilliam; and his siblings-in-law, Larry, Gary Gartrell, Elaine and Irene Gartrell. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crown Heights Baptist Church or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
