He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt W. Byrd and Ester Lee Byrd (Wells). He is survived by: his children, Lynnette Elliott, Jolynn Mikesha (Marcus), Sherry Sweetin-Powell (Danny), Gayla Seaney, Tina Bailey (Paul), Ricky Byrd, Phillip Byrd and Terry Sweetin (Deanne); and his sister Bonnie Brown. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
