She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Hubbard and Margaret Hubbard (Smith); her husband John Challis; her brother-in-law Harold Slaton; and also, Omar, Florence Challis and Donna Bishop.
She is survived by: her sons, Cary Challis (Charlotte) of Willow, OK, Kirk Challis (Stacey) of Bedford, TX and Kelly Challis (Tiffany) of Kennesaw, Georgia; her sister Wanoma Lou Slaton of Hinton, OK; her grandchildren, Brandi Sanders (Chris), Jason Challis, Melissa Rutledge, Victoria Challis and Isabella Challis; her stepgrandchildren, Shawn, Soo Murray, Greg Murray and Todd Murray; her great grandchildren, Alexis Challis (Josh Loft), Jonathan Challis (Tori Beasley), Joshua Challis, Brandt and Eli Pross; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Andelaine, Elysia, Francesca Sanders, Kenzie, Delaney and Rowynn Rutledge; and her granddaughter-in-law Kandi Challis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
