He is survived by: his wife Florence (Schrock); his children, Clayton Gerig of Lebanon, Russell Gerig (Brenda) of Lebanon, Joyce Vomocil of Albany, Joleen Blunck (Jeff) of Corvallis, Roberta Schrock (Phil) of Albany, Dale Gerig of Lebanon, Nate Gerig (Karen) of Albany, Kenny Gerig (Shanna) of Albany, Vernon Gerig (Ellen) of Hillsboro and Tim Gerig (Susan) of Albany; and his sister Minnie Chaffee of West Unity, Ohio. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
