He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Ketter and Virginia Ketter; his sister Barbara Hahn; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Brown, Dick Messbarger, Sam, Fletcher, Zeke, Gus and Scout.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Ketter; and his grandchildren, Adelai, Henry, Emily Umscheid and Kate Ketter. He is also survived by his children and their spouses: Jacob Ketter and Deborah Richman, Sarah and Daniel Umscheid and Lucas and Brittany Ketter; his siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the Ketter's have asked that donations be made to the Albany Parks and Recreation Foundation in Jim's name.
