He was predeceased by: his spouse Lentha Coleman; his parents, Ben Cline and Sarah Cline; and his brother Benjamin Cline. He is survived by: his children, Lillie Lyons, Howard Dooley, Judy Dickens, Lisa Bergh, Ann Cline and La Roy Cline; and his siblings, Rick Cline, Bill Cline, Harold Lyons, Sue Andrews, Dolly Strausbaugh, Donna Goodsell and Frankie Lyons. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
