It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avanell Wren of Alsea, Oregon, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard C. Prowett and Yola Fay Prowett (Hoagland); her sister Darline; her husband Arnold Wren; her son Craig Riley Wren; and her half-brothers, Charles, Thomas, Donald Johnson, Richard and William Prowett.
She is survived by: her half-brother Arthur; and her children, Cory Rye (Teresa) of Philomath, Terri (Shank) of Albany and Shawn (Lisha) of Alsea. She is also survived by 6 grand children and 3 great grand children.
