With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Walker Tienson Johnson in Astoria, Oregon, who passed away on October 6, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Donald and Sadie Walker (Swanson); her former life partner John Tienson; her sons, David and Donald; and her husband Clyde Johnson.
She is survived by : her sons, Thane Tienson of Portland and John Tienson of Eddyville; and her grandchildren, Erik Tienson of Hood River, Julia Tienson of Portland, Linnea Baker of Willows, California and Breanna Tienson of Willows, California. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
The family suggests contributions be made to Columbia Riverkeeper, Clatsop County Historical Society or the Columbia River Maritime Museum.
