With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Wayne Jessen of Astoria, Oregon, born in Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on November 6, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Frederick Jessen and Hulda Marie Simonson; and his siblings, John Jessen of Astoria, Ruth Huckey of Oregon City, Irene Jessen of Illinois and Alice Campbell of Colorado.

He is survived by : his close friend Judy; his wife Judy Cheney; his daughters, Deborah Luty of Astoria and Andrea Holmstedt of Astoria; his grandchildren, Jonathan Luty (Nicole) of Stehekin and Jessen Luty (Benjamin) of Portland; and his great grandchild Finley of Portland. He is also survived by father to his two daughters.
