She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hekala and Anna Hanni Hekala; her husband Bob; her siblings, Walter Hekala, Victor Hekala and Janet Welch Maxson; and also, Felix, Fannie Dorvinen, Violet Grove and Margaret Maher.
She is survived by : her children, Terry Dorvinen (JoRene Byers) of Powell Butte, Corinne Neufeldt (Mark) of St. Helens and Lori Tussing of Hammond; her grandchildren, Nathan Neufeldt (Elizabeth) of Thompson's Station, Andrea Motley (Michael) of Broken Arrow, Cally Ridlon (Eric) of Sunriver, Than Tussing (Juli) of Warren, Shoshana Brinkman (Ted) of Warrenton and Elisa Scull (Robert) of Warrenton; her friend Marsha Ettro; and also Esther. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
