He was predeceased by : his parents, James Garner and Iona Garner. He is survived by : his wife Mary MacDonald-Garner; his son Geof Garner; his sister Pamela Garner; his brother-in-law Brodie MacDonald; his cousin Aldine Thornton; his stepchildren, Tara Finch Hano and Joel Finch; and his grandchildren, Ravyn, Cameron, Leontine and Albin.
