She was predeceased by : her parents, Loyal Hinkson and Margaret Hinkson; her son Max; and her siblings, Bill Hinkson and Muriel Cobb.

She is survived by : her children, Jack Strickland, Larry Strickland (Nanci), Carolyn Strickland, Annette Jones (Randy), Tina Miller (Mike) and Billie Kittel (Louis); and her sister Betty Smith. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
