He was predeceased by: his parents, John Milton Simmons and Ruth Marie Simmons (Mansell); and his sister Carol Dompier of Las Vegas, NV.. He is survived by: his wife Ila M. Simmons of Cottage Grove, OR; and his children, Carol Smith (Terry) of North Bend, OR, Mike Simmons (Tina) of Cottage Grove, OR, Sharon Parker (Vic) of Springfield, OR and Jim Simmons (Deb) of Cottage Grove, OR. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
