We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2020, at the age of 97, Opal Marie Nelson (Cottage Grove, Oregon), born in Huntington, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver P. Land and Martha M. Land (Mason); her husband James Nelson; and her sons, Mark B., Jon O. and Roger Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Shepard (Steve), Robin Masterson (Fred) and Dawn Nelson of Nikiski, AK; and her grandchildren, Tricia Dawson, Sunny McGuire, Patrick McGuire, Eric Nelson, Cody Herman and Casey Herman. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
