He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gjersvold and Margaret Gjersvold (Cameron); and his siblings, Harvey, George Jr. (Junie), Mary (Muggie), James (Booge), Norman (Sammy), Merle, Betty (Dolly), Dorothy, Tippy and Cyril (Buddy).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gjersvold; his children, Darby Gingery (Monte) of Potomac, MD, Kyle Gjersvold (Kristi) of Washington, D. C. and Kari McCaw (Mike) of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Gunnar, Grayson, Greer Gingery, Rowan, Kieran Gjersvold and Mia McCaw.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions at this time, a memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
