He is survived by: his wife Maria Zelaya; his children, Silvia (Mario Ruiz), Marina Zelaya of Aloha, Oregon, Mario (Matt Zelaya), Jorge (Blossom Zelaya) and Juan Carlos Zelaya of Dallas, Texas; his sisters, Milagro Moore of La Puente and Veraliz Juarez of Riverside, California.; his grandchildren, Erick Ruiz, Derick Ruiz, Michelle Francin Ruiz, Patricia Garcia, Geovanny Vega, Emelly Vega, Alexi Zelaya, Jade Zelaya, Carlos Pena, Katia Pena and London Zelaya; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Zelaya, Jazmyne Zelaya, Vanessa Zelaya, Lucy Ruiz and Remy Ruiz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
