He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Hood and Rhoda Hood (Davidson). He is survived by: his former wife Ava Jean Hood (Drake); his wife Eileen L. Hood (Wisecup) of Gleneden Beach; his children, Dave Hood (Kathy) of Bend, Andrew Hood (Teresa) of Bend, Susan of Damascus, John Drake (Rita) of Sandy, Marvel Sandoval (Manny) of Gleneden Beach, Jeff Smith (Pam) of Gleneden Beach and Philip Smith (Heidi) of Gladstone; and his sister Kathryn Lawrence of Monterrey, California.. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
