He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Nokes and Blanch Nokes; and his sister Mary Kruse. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Nokes; his children, Timothy Nokes of Salem, OR, Michael Nokes of Newport and Jennifer Handler of Foster, Oregon.; and his brothers, George Nokes and Tom Nokes. He is also survived by his wife, his three children, 6 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made in Harveys name to the Harrisburg Museum.
