She was predeceased by: her daughter Brenda. She is survived by: her parents, John DeFries and Treasa DeFries; her husband Leonard; her children, Kathy Ackerman, Wade Ackerman and Angie Ackerman; and her granddaughters, Britney and Lauren Ackerman. She is also survived by numerous siblings and extended family.

Family suggest memorial donations be made to Living Faith Church.
