He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Buwalda and Leona Buwalda (Johnson); and his granddaughter Caya Davis. He is survived by: his spouse Patti; his son Jeffrey Davis; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Davis II and Ceylee Davis; and his brothers, Ron Buwalda and Burt Buwalda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family suggest memorial donation to either the National Kidney Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.
