She was predeceased by: her parents, James Strickland and Helen Strickland (Yates); her sons, Timothy and John; and her sister Joyce Collins.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Butch" Kindel; her son Dexter Kindel (Tami Brandsasse) of Prineville; her siblings, Judy Giddens of Demorest, GA, Shelby Strickland of Demorest, GA, Nancy Spaulding of Jacksonville, FL and Eddie Strickland of Elkton, FL; her grandchildren, Anissa (Javier Espinoza) and Philip Kindel of Beaverton; and her great grandchildren, Ziarah, Josiah, Sophia, Mia and Eli.
