She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Seus and Mary Seus (Nist); her daughter Ann Marie Thompson; the father of her children Thomas Thompson; and her siblings, Joe Seus, John Seus, Ed Seus, Bernie Seus, Mary Lahti, Genevieve VanGrunsven, Dorothy Vuylsteke and Bertha Herb.
She is survived by: her sons, Samuel (Joyce Thompson), Michael (Nancy Shannon) and Joseph (Janine Thompson); and her grandchildren, Tyler, Nathaniel Thompson, Robert, Emily Shannon, Ryan and Jessica Thompson.
In memory of Helen, the family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA), OHSU Brain Institute Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, or St. Matthew Catholic School.
