He was loved and cherished by many people including: his fathers, Herbert Thompson and Allan Thompson; his children, Christopher Thompson and Michal; his wife Alice Thompson; his brother Allan Thompson; his child Marcial Thompson (Lidia Thompson); his grandsons, William and Henry Thompson; his child Sonta Thompson; and his grandchildren, Milo and Christopher Thompson. He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren.
