He was predeceased by: his former wife Florene Shepherd; and his wife Verna Spurgeon. He is survived by: his sister Jane Postel of Ogden, UT; and his children, Barbara Morley of Willamina, OR and Robert Roten of Laramie, WY. He is also survived by two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
