He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schmierer and Christina Schmierer; his wife Lucille Schmierer; and his brother-in-law Floyd Vinnard. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Schmierer (Vickie) and Cindy Seabrands (Don); his grandchildren, April Martinez (Candelario), Brooke Schmierer, Guy Munns (Michelle) and Alexander Munns; his great grandchildren, Veronica Garcia, Cruz Garcia, Bianca Garcia and Victoria Garcia; his siblings, Clarence Schmierer and Clara Milton (Jack); and his sisters-in-law, Millie Kurtz-Hickman and Phyllis Wilson. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
