He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Brooks and Lewis Eugene Brooks; his siblings, Kathleen Jamison, Roberta Brooks, Bettie Trapp and Louie Hall; and his great grandchild Destiny Heredia.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Davis (Pat); his children, Wade Brooks, Natalie Herrera, Julie Brooks and Nathan Brooks; and his brother Ned Brooks. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and their spouses, 20 great grandchildren.
