It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Hanley-Miller of Milton Freewater, Oregon, who passed away on August 10, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Samuel Beene and Edith May Beene (Carlstrom); her former spouse Thomas Estachius Schmidt; her husband Bill; and her children, Susan K Thompson, Cindy L. Zinck, Thomas E. Schmidt and Sharon K. VanHatten. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the Meals on Wheels program of CAPECO (Community Action Program of East Central Oregon) or any of the charities to which she gave so generously of her time would please her and this may be done through Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home, 902 S.
