It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael William Smith of Milton Freewater, Oregon, born in Walla Walla, Washington, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rodney Smith and Helen Alleyn Smith (Johns) of Athena, OR.. He is survived by: his former wife Marilyn Darrow; his wife Carol Smith of Milton-Freewater; and his siblings, Terry Smith (Penny) of Warrenton, OR and Karen Smith Albert (Tim) of Athena. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date due to Covid restrictions.
