He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Claude and Effie Ellen Stewart of Oldham County, Kentucky.; his wife Betty; his grandson Timothy Palmer; and his son-in-law Ron Hodges.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Hodges, John Stewart (Kathleen), Patricia Stewart, Linda Palmer (Michael), Steve Stewart and Susan Stewart Broqvist; Sonny and Sally Newsom.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stehn Family Chapels Milwaukie Tribute Center (2906 SE Harrison St, Milwaukie, OR 97222).
