Orville's passion for dentistry and continuing education was evident by his involvement and contributions to numerous professional associations and organizations, including the Oregon Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Oregon Society of Dentistry for Children, Oregon Dental Service, OHSU School of Dentistry and countless others.
