She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Niemann and Kathryn Ann Niemann (Wilson); her grandson Chad Niichel; and her siblings, Raymond Niemann, Lawrence Niemann, Daphine Niemann and Imelda "Mel" Bohling.
She is survived by: her spouse Earl Niichel; her children, Steve Niichel (Nancy Coyote) of Patagonia, AZ, David Niichel of Forest City, IA, Joy McGrane of Clear Lake, IA and Julie McDonald of Kansas City, MO; and her sister Dolores Conrad of Brandon, IA.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
