He was predeceased by: his siblings, Henry, Hugh, Eola (Ellyes) and Claire (Trullinger); and his siblings' children, Rene (Aughenbaugh), Scott Scheer and Daryl Scheer.
He is survived by: his spouse Sara Hewitt; his children, Colby (Tonya) of Canby, Chris (Heather) of Vancouver and Danielle of Forest Grove; his friend Teko; Sara. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, his brother.
