He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria and Angeles; and his siblings, Alba and Alonso. He is survived by: his wife Meredith; and his children, Merry, Adrienne, Agustin (Alysson), Andrew and Alicia Kriske (Jeffery). He is also survived by four grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life; and a large, loving extended family.

His family suggests Boy Scouts of America - Cascade Pacific Council, Lions Eye Bank of Oregon, Catholic Charities of Oregon's Refugee Services and the Alzheimer's Association of Oregon.
