He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Director and Estelle Director; and his brother Sanford. He is survived by: his children, Frank, Alan, Scott (Carol), Richard (Kelly), Tracy (Mike), Kevin (Geni) and Dana (Aaron); his grandchildren, Ashley (Chris), Jordan, Isabelle and Samuel; his great grandchild Olivia; and also, Samuel Director, Jack, Joseph, Charlotte, Spencer Collin (Danielle) and Grant.
