It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Nitz (Portland, Oregon), who passed away on December 16, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Carl F. Nitz (Edna); his wife Joyce Rupprecht; his sons, Timothy, Anthony and Aaron; his parents-in-law, Reuben and Lorine Rupprecht; his brothers, Ted, Wilfred and Ralph; his brother-in-law Mark; his siblings, Ron (Jackie) and Naomi (Jolene); and his siblings-in-law, Thomas, James (Jill), Gail, Judy (Bob) and Ruthann (Robert). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Should memorials in Carl's name be considered, the family suggests a non-profit group or museum whose mission is to preserve and share the history of the Pacific Northwest or another charity of donor's choice.
