We bid farewell to Carrie Lyn Butler (Portland, Oregon), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 1, 2025 at the age of 73. Carrie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Carrie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Carrie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Nom Low and Cleo Helene Low (Wiebe). She is survived by: her husband John Butler; her children, Deana (Justin), Heather (Brian) and Cole (Traci); her grandchildren, Kyler, Makara and Grayson; and her brothers, Dan (Holly), Don and David (Pam). She is also survived by the nephews, nieces, cousins, and companions that called her aunt or great-aunt.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mt. Scott Funeral Home (4205 SE 59th Ave, Portland, OR 97206).
