It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Louise Lien (Portland, Oregon), who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Rinio and Carol Rinio. She is survived by: her husband Bob (Bob) of Tigard, OR; her sons, Erik Lien of Beaverton, OR and Daniel Lien (Charlotte Soderberg) of Bend, OR.; and her siblings, Kristy Rice (Randy) of Roseburg, OR, Jennifer Rinio of Oracle, AZ and Thomas Rinio of Portland, OR. She is also survived by her patients, her friends and especially her family.

Her recent COVID infection could play a role, but further testing is being done.

She often spoke of her twin boys and you could see her love for them. She was always so respectful of my choices and so supportive. She had a sweet giggle and made me feel like we were a team supporting my children. I truly am so sorry she is gone. Her presence in my life was meaningful. Praying for her soul and you all. 🙏🏻”
