He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Leonard Devereux, Jr. and Ruth Foster Devereux; and his brother Frederick Leonard Devereux III. He is survived by: his wife Penelope Devereux; his sons, Charles Foster Devereux (Beth Elliot) of Portland, OR and Stephen Frederick Devereux (Laurie Leone) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Sophia, Liliana and Gabriel; and his sister Frances Devereux Schaeffer (Peter) of Amagansett, NY.
