We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2025, at the age of 91, Gracie Evelyn Mason in Portland, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Adie Jewel and Pearlie Leola Paden; her significant other Lee Lenard; and her siblings, Leonard, Dorothy Jean, Adie Bell, Jewel Edward and Geneva.

She is survived by: her children, Darcell Dance (Derwin Cunningham) and Dale Mason; her granddaughter Aasha Benton (Devin Hopkins); and her sisters, Lorene Wilder and Charlene Andrews. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and beloved friends.

In honor of her lifelong dedication to education and community, donations may be made in her name to the Gracie Mason Scholarship Fund.
