He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Raines; his sister Alma Jean Reese; his sibling's children, Debra Rodgers, Lynn West, Robbie West, Kenny West, Duane Rodgers and Alton McDowell; and his close friend Valerie McCollum. He is also survived by other relatives and special friends.
