He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Gassner (Olson) of Portland, OR and Arlen Gassner of Seaside, OR.; and his half-brother Shane Gassner of Roseville, CA. He is survived by: his wife Patti Gassner (Warrick); his sister-in-law Becky Warrick; his sister Leslie Kallunki (John) of Mayger, OR; his siblings' children, Britta Kallunki of Portland, OR and Arlen Kallunki (Amanda) of Portland, OR; his great-nephews, Damien Elizarraraz, Delano Hollis Kallunki and Leon Kallunki; and his siblings, Arlayne Hoff of Seaside, OR, David Gassner of Thompson, IA and Tracy Gassner of Seaside, OR.. He is also survived by cat PITA, 3 step children, 11 grandchildren.
