She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alice L. Rath (Sharpe) and John F. Sharpe; her daughter Teresa Ascenzi (Hampton); her granddaughter Jennifer Ascenzi; her great grandchild Victoria; and her sister Joan Yu. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sts. Peter and Paul Episcopal church as they prepare a warming station for homeless.
