She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Atlee and John Atlee; and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Connor Cahill (Maddie), Emily Chappelle and Edwin Chappelle; and her sister Margaret Diener. She is also survived by her three daughters.
In recent years she made many close friends through the Alzheimer's Association support groups while caring for Jim.
