It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Spain (Portland, Oregon), who passed away on January 23, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Spain and Edithe Als; his siblings, Agnes Steward-Sorrells, Juanita Williams, Lillian Lee Wesby and Little Richard Steward; his wife Mary Spain; and his stepson Reggie Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Spain Jr, Rodney Spain, Renee, Cynthia, Windell, Melvin, Shelly, Velma, Crystal, Darell and Craig. He is also survived by stepchildren, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
