She was predeceased by: her siblings, Versia DeWayne Poston and Frank Richard Poston; and her sister-in-law Selina Poston. She is survived by: her mother Bertha Lee Poston; and her siblings, Alva Lee Houston, Genevieve Poston (Cindy), Lavern Houston and Cameron James of Portland, Oregon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
