She is survived by: her siblings, Mark Gustafson and Barbara Crites; her children, Daniel Foster, Christine Foster and Mary Williams; her grandchildren, Sarah Michalski, Emily Michalski, Dakota Foster, Sierra Tryon and Elizabeth Williams; her child Sanh Tran; and her grandchild Tran.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Savage Memorial Presbyterian Church (1740 SE 139th Ave, Portland, OR 97233).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Karen's honor can be made towards Savage Memorial Presbyterian Church or SnowCAP Community Charities.
