He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roman Catabay and Prescilla Celino Catabay; his children, Jolanda Catabay, Leonida McPherson, Leo Catabay Jr, Melaina Catabay, Lian Fox, Marcella Wilkes, Angelina Jackson and Roman Catabay; his siblings, Didoy Catabay, Pionalita Cabatic and Anacleto Catabay; his wife Eleanor Catabay; his siblings, Cedrico Catabay, Emelia Tugade, Dalmacio Catabay and Florentino Catabay; and his granddaughter Victoria Catabay-McKenzie. He was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren.
