Philip Gregory (Phil) Teodorski Obituary
Philip Gregory Teodorski passed away on Tuesday, January 14th, 2020.
Born in Pennsylvania in 1965, Phil attended Marcos de Niza high school in Tempe before graduating cum laude with a B.S. in Broadcasting from Northern Arizona University. He lived in Las Vegas and Denver before settling here in Portland.
Phil was a two-time Emmy Award-winning Technical Director whose career spanned 30 years. He worked locally at KATU, KPTV, KOIN, and traveled the world covering sporting events for ESPN and HBO Boxing. He also worked the Sochi, Rio, and PyeongChang Olympics.
Phil was an avid photographer who enjoyed art, music, tango and salsa dancing, Zumba, Star Wars, and savoring a good whiskey.
He is survived by his daughter Brittany (Ryan Hertel) Teodorski; longtime partner Jillian Eyerman; cat Cotton; siblings Deborah Teodorski, Michael Teodorski, and Janice (Leonard) Miller; two nieces, five nephews, two aunts, one uncle, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are encouraged to donate to NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness or to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, January 25th at 3pm. Reception to follow at 5pm. PulsePDX, 3602 NE Sandy Blvd, Portland, 97232.
